Peter Pan Child Development Center, provides a safe, loving and structured environment for a diverse group of children in East Atlanta and surrounding areas. Children are exposed to a wide range of educational activities that include some instruction in Spanish by native Spanish-speaking teachers. Our overall goal is to guide and help each child develop high self-esteem and feel confidence in his or her ability to explore and learn new skills. 

About us: Peter Pan is a family-owned business that opened its doors 40 years ago, and since then has been providing quality and affordable child care for working families of East Atlanta, Ormewood Park and surrounding areas. 

Our facility has been recently completely renovated. It has three large, separate areas for the different age groups, a playground, security cameras and parking lot for easy drop-offs and pick-ups.



We are open Monday through Friday from 6:30 a.m. to 6 p.m. We welcome children ages newborn to 5 years old. We also provide before- and after-school services for children ages 5 to 12 years old. Part-time services and drop ins are available. 

Breakfast, lunch and snack are provided daily. Meals are well balanced, nutritious, and include all the basic food groups.  

Programs:

Infant Room Infants receive special attention like cuddling, rocking, tummy time and rolling on the floor with the teachers. They listen to music and are read stories and poems in both English and Spanish, and they also enjoy outdoor time.

Toddler Room

Children are lead in bilingual structured educational activities such as counting, learning the alphabet, days of the week, and music and movement. There are also non-structured free time activities where children elect where they would like to participate, such art projects, library and puppets. They also have outdoor time.

Pre-k Room

Educational activities focus on around literacy, language skills, basic math concepts and developing social skills by working in groups. Daily activities include: days of the week, weather, letters and numbers, music and movement, stories, and other various theme activities, in both English and Spanish, and outdoor time.

- Subsidized childcare accepted, such as, Peach, Caps, etc.

Peter Pan is licensed and regulated by Bright from the Start, Georgia Department of Early Care and Learning, which regularly inspects to ensure compliance with government rules and regulations.
